End of Summit
The 7th World Ferroalloys Summit was successfully held at Sanya Narada Resort & Spa on October 21-23, 2013. Major producers, traders and consumers from ferroalloys, steel and other related industries attended the summit.
On morning of 22th, the summit opened at 9:00, Mr Wang Weifeng from Fugu Taida Coal Co., Ltd delivered the opening remarks for the summit in which he hoped to have opportunities to work with all attendees in the future.
Mr Wang Xiaoguang from Development and Reform Commission analyzed the China‘s macro economic situation in 2014 and believes that the economy will move steadily in the coming year, and that the Chinese government will definitely look to restructure some industries in the near future.
After the coffee break, Mr Wen Pin from China Foundry Association gave a speech about Chinese foundry industry in which he described that with the rapid development of Chinese foundry industry, its demand for ferroalloys will increase greatly.
After that, Ms Wu Li from Double Pearl Co., Ltd introduced the development of ferrophosphorus industry in the past few years and analized the current market situation of ferrophosphorus.
In the afternoon, Mr Wang Teng from Jinzhou Guangda Ferroalloys Co.,Ltd. delivered a speech about ferrovanadium outlining how demand has changed for ferrovanadium over the past few years. the demand change of ferrovanadium in the recent years. And then Mr Tai Deyu from Anhui Gangming New Materials Technology Co.,Ltd. gave us a report of vanadium nitride alloy in which he explained the advantages of the product as raw materials of steel industry. He also analyzed the prospect of vanadium nitride alloy in the coming years.
Mr Li Qiang from Shanghai Jinneng International Trade Co., Ltd. delivered a speech of manganese alloys industry and a detailed analysis of the market situation of manganese ore, manganese alloys and steel products.
After that, Mr Zhang Shuo from China National Minerals Co.,Ltd. Analyzed Chinese chrome industry and Mr Xia Gang from Million Link (Tianjin) International Trade Co.,Ltd. introduced the investment of Philippine Chrome Ore.
Finally, Mr Tang Xipeng from Shougang Group gave a report about ferroalloys consumption from Chinese steel industry and he also introduced the ferroalloys purchase of Shougang Group.
After reports, some attendees made a discussion of the current industrial situation and expressed their opinions for the potential future prospects of the market, and some also introduced the development of their own companies.
