Special action of crack down on rare earth irregularity carried forward further in Jiangxi

Recently, the Industry and Information Technology Commission of Jiangxi Provincial issued emergency notice of carrying out the special action of "Look Back" on fighting against illegal behavior of rare earth, requiring that relative participants shall earnestly implement on the basis of the rectification documentation issued by 8 departments including MIIT, organize and carry out the "Looking Back" action, and investigate all kinds of illegal cases within limited time. 8 inspection groups involved in finance, technology, detection and other aspects composing of the Commission and relative departments are inspecting all the rare earth companies one by one in Jiangxi, resolutely ban undocumented exploitation, remove illegal facilities of these companies, and surrender related companies involved in crimes to the judicial department; all companies with uncompleted EIA procedures and of exceeding the standard discharge are forced to suspend production for rectification; all companies with overrun and no plans are forced to suspend production for rectification; all companies purchasing and processing “rare earth enrichment” (treated as processing of rare earth minerals) are forced to suspend production for rectification; companies making out false special purpose invoice of rare earth and tax evasion are resolutely investigated and punished.
