    1 Financial overview

    1.1 CPI to fall back to 2% in January, inflation may intensify in H2
    CPI (consumer price index) of January will be released on the last workday before the Spring Festival. Manny institutions anticipated CPI growth of January will fall back as the index kept high amid the Spring Festival in the month.
    Many institutions also expected that CPI will increase significantly in February, and the index will rise stably without the influence of the festival in March, while growth of the index may be higher than expected.
