Vietnamese antimony ingot price stable

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 14 Dec 12 – Antimony ingot price drops both in Chinese and European antimony market, but Asian Metal learned the offer from Viet Nam for antimony ingot 99.65%min keeps stable at around USD11,200-11,400/t this week.
A Viet Nam-based producer with an output of around 60tpm averagely told Asian Metal that he offers about USD11,200/t for antimony ingot 99.65%min at this moment, the same as that of last week. “I learned the price of antimony ingot 99.65%min declined by USD400/t in European market and decreased by USD200/t in Chinese market, but Vietnamese market price is still lower than them,” said the source, adding a weak demand from Japan, Europe and South Korea.
A Viet Nam-based trader who deals around two containers of antimony ingot per month told Asian Metal he offers about USD11,300/t for antimony ingot 99.65%min this week, unchanged compared with that of last week. “I am not eager to conclude deals owing to no stock pressure,” said the source, adding a small amount of antimony ingot output in Viet Nam, less than 400tpy.
The source also confirmed that the antimony ingot market is dull and customers from all over the world are purchasing from hand to mouth.
