Affected by the price fluctuation of CRC and the ex-work prices announced by steel mills, HGI coil prices in Chinese prevailing markets did not continue to increase as most traders expected before the National Day. After the National Day holiday, the increment speed slowed down and prices even witnessed a downward trend in some areas. Considering the weak demand from downstream customers and the good influence from the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China which will be held on November 8, insiders think the prices will be stable in the coming month.
