Prices of most stainless steel products in China experienced a downward trend in June, the traditional low season when the demand from end users is weaker under the rainy and hot day. Meanwhile, the price of the raw material-nickel kept going down this month and it also imposed obvious negative influence on the stainless steel market. Observers predict that prices are likely to go down further in July when there are more rainy days and participants’ financial problems remain.
