HGI coil prices in Chinese prevailing markets experienced an upward trend this month, but the market did not show obvious improvement caused by downstream customers’ weak demand. Considering most downstream customers are still not eager to build large stocks but inclined to purchase according to urgent needs, traders are not quite confident of the coming market. However, in view of the high purchase cost, insiders predict the price is likely to move up in the following month.
