Shanghai Ganfeng to acquire Bacanora

Ganfeng Lithium announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shanghai Ganfeng, will acquire all the issued shares of Bacanora, except the shares already held by Shanghai Ganfeng, at no more than GBP190 million. After the deal is completed, Shanghai Ganfeng will hold 100% shares of Bacanora.
Bacanora was founded in 2018 and listed in AIM section in London Stock Exchange. Its main asset is the Sonora lithium clay project in Mexico, which is also one of the largest lithium resource projects worldwide. After the deal is finished, Bacanora will accelerate its efforts to put Sonora lithium clay project into production.
