U.S. sees year-on-year increase of 12.1% in thermal coal exports in Feb

Data released by U.S. Census Bureau indicated that U.S. exported 3.7 million short tons of thermal coal in February 2021, an increase of 12.1% compared with the figure of 3.3 million short tons in the same period of last year.
U.S. saw total exports of 7.4 million short tons of coal in February 2021, up by 8.8% from the figure of 6.8 million short tons in the same period of last year, creating a new high since November 2019.
