Yingtan Zhongxian receives EIA approval for copper precision wire material project

Yingtan Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau announced on February 25 that it has approved the environment impact assessment (EIA) conclusion and related ecological environmental protection measures in the environment impact report for the 100,000tpy copper precision wire material construction project to be built by Yingtan Zhongxian New Material Co., Ltd.
According to the announcement, the project will be located at Yingtan high-tech industry development zone with total investment of RMB30 million (USD4.64 million), including RMB1.3 million (USD200,850) for environment protection. The project will be constructed in three phases, each with investment of RMB10 million (USD1.55 million), and mainly produces precision bare copper wire and precision tinplating copper wire. Using copper rod, finished product sourced in the market, as the raw material, the project will have an annual production capacity of 10,000t of precision bare copper wire (1,000t, 3,000t and 6,000t for phase one, two and three respectively), and 90,000t of precision tinplating copper wire (9,000t, 27,000t and 54,000t for phase one, two and three respectively).
