Shandong to accelerate implementation of steel production capacity integration

It was learned from the press conference held by the Shandong Provincial Government on February 22 that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Shandong would further accelerate the implementation of steel and oil refining capacity integration, clear the transfer channel to coastal bases, cultivate a group of new driving force projects with leading roles, and build the world-class industrial clusters.
During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Shandong will continue to promote the steel production capacity of transmission channel and cities along Jiaozhou-Jinan Railway transferred to Rizhao-Linyi coastal advanced iron and steel manufacturing industry base as well as Laiwu-Taian inland high-quality steel production base, make every effort to grasp well the construction of Shandong Steel Rizhao Competitive Products Base, optimization and improvement of undertaking production capacity of Rizhao Iron and Steel, Yongfeng Lingang Quality Steel, Linyi Steel Investment High-end Stainless Steel, Laiwu Steel's transformation and upgrading, Shiheng Special Steel's special construction steel and other major projects, complete the major adjustment, major layout and major optimization of the steel industry, and build the world advanced steel manufacturing industrial base with international competitiveness.
