On February 20, Chairman of Geely Li Shufu revealed the company's two action plans focusing on energy saving and new energy vehicles as well as on pure electric smart vehicles; according to the plans, Geely will form a brand-new subsidiary to handle its pure electric vehicle business. This means that, in addition to cooperation with other companies, Geely itself will directly take part in the pure electric vehicle market.
