Protean Energy begins exploration at South Korean vanadium project

Australia's Protean Energy Ltd. has started phases one and two of a seven-phase exploration program at Gwesan Vanadium Project in South Korea with the help of in-country independent consulting group GeoGeny Consultants Group Inc.
The consultancy will undertake the exploration activities with the aim of identifying vanadium prospectivity. Under phase 1, GeoGeny will undertake a site visit, review project history and existing reports, review geology and mineralization, and prepare an exploration plan. In phase 2, it will undertake a geological survey to gain a field-based understanding of the project's geology and mineralization.
Subject to requisite permitting, the company anticipates starting phase three, a field reconnaissance program consisting of a multi-commodity soil sampling campaign to occur in the second quarter of 2021.
