Magnesite: In January, most magnesite mines suspended production for safety reasons and the mining control policies. Most suppliers lifted the prices due to the reduced supply.
Caustic calcined magnesia: As most producers suspended production due to the strengthened environmental inspection, the prices of this product increased due to the tight supply.
Dead burned magnesia: Due to the reduced supply, the prices of dead burned magnesia 90%min and 95%min moved up. However, the prices of dead burned magnesia 96.5%min and 97%min basically remained stable due to the weak demand but shrank supply.
Fused magnesia: Given that most producers kept in production as normal, while the demand shrank, the prices of fused magnesia 97%min decreased slightly. However, supported by the increased prices of raw material, the prices of fused magnesia large crystal moved up.
