According to National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China's manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) was 51
In terms of enterprise scale, the PMI of large-sized enterprise and medium-sized enterprise recorded 52.1% and 51 . 4% respectively, down by 0 . 6% and 1 . 3% compared to last month, which were both above the threshold; that of small-sized enterprise was 49 . 4%, up by 0 . 6% from the previous month, which was still below the threshold.
Among the five sub-indices composing manufacturing PMI, production index and new order index were both higher than the threshold, while raw material inventory index, employment index and supplier distribution time index were all lower than the threshold.
