CISA to set up low-carbon work promotion committee

On 20 January, China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) announced the plan for setting up "China Iron & Steel Association Low-carbon Work Promotion Committee" to play a due role in getting favorable opportunities amid carbon competition of iron and steel enterprises by integrating advantages of all parties, with the goal of achieving carbon emission target of iron and steel industry together.Asian Metal Copyright .Asian Metal Copyright The committee is consist of three working teams and one expert team.Asian Metal Copyright .Asian Metal Copyright In particular, the low-carbon development team will be mainly engaged in investigating and studying related policies and problems in iron and steel industry and putting forward policy suggestions and measures.
