On January 20, Baowu Steel's President Mr. Chen Derong stated that the company will work out its road map for low-carbon metallurgy in 2021, strive to achieve carbon emission culmination by 2023, form the technical capacity by 2025 required for achieving a 30% reduction in its carbon emission, achieve a 30% reduction in carbon emission, and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
