    Nippon Steel restarts blast furnace in eastern Japan

    Nippon Steel has restarted another blast furnace that was taken offline as the COVID-19 pandemic undercut demand.

    The company fired up its furnace in Ibaraki Prefecture northeast of Tokyo on Tuesday.
