Chinese stainless steel prices saw an upward trend during this month mainly supported by higher raw material costs and the increase in steel mills' list prices. Besides, the market inventory kept low due to the tight supply from steel mills, which also pushed up the prices. However, because of the price increase, customers were mostly purchasing materials for urgent need and the market sales performance did not become better.
