  • MIIT plans to formulate road map to peak carbon dioxide emissions for major industries

    According to information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the ministry will implement industrial low-carbon campaign and green manufacturing project and formulate action plan and route map to peak carbon dioxide emissions for iron and steel, cement and other major industries on the basis of the goal node for peaking carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality.

    Iron and steel industry is one of the major industries for peaking carbon dioxide emissions this year.
