    Recycled steel raw materials complying with China's national standards can be imported freely from 2021

    China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment, NDRC, the General Administration of Customs, Ministry of Commerce and MIIT jointly issued a report on December 31st, 2020, noting that recycled steel raw materials, which comply with the stipulation of China's Recycled Steel Raw Material National Standards (GB/T 39733-2020), are not solid waste and thus can be imported freely from January 1st, 2021.
