All coke ovens of Shanxi Meijin Coal Coking, Gengyang Industry and Yaxin Coal Coking located in Qingxu, Taiyuan, Shanxi, had been shut down formally by December 31st, 2020, indicating that all oven chambers with the height of 4.3m and clean type heat recovery coke ovens in Taiyuan were closed.
According to the unified deployment of Taiyuan and the requirements of both the municipal industry and information bureau and the ecology and environment bureau, Taiyuan should finish its task of cutting coking production capacity in 2020 and close all oven chambers with the height of 4.3m and clean type heat recovery coke ovens on the premise of production safety and stability.
