On December 23, Department of Industry and Information Technology of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region announced the change of replacement plan for the 420,000t of primary aluminum production capacity of the light alloy material project phase III of Inner Mongolia Huayun New Material Co
According to the announcement, the report on changing the replacement plan of primary aluminum capacity applied to change the replacement of 420,000t of electrolytic aluminum capacity to Inner Mongolia Huayun New Material Co., Ltd . (including 135,000t from Hubei Yichang Changjiang Aluminum Co . , Ltd . , 30,000t from Shanxi Huasheng Aluminum Co . , Ltd . , 5,000t from Henan Sanmenxia Tianyuan Aluminum Co . , Ltd . and 250,000t from Baotou Aluminum Co . , Ltd . , with planned construction of 307 500KA electrolytic cells) that had been announced in batches as follows: the replacement capacity of primary aluminum to Inner Mongolia Huayun New Material Co . , Ltd . shall be still 420,000t, but the electrolytic cells planned to be constructed shall be 256 units, with the planned construction time of 2021.
