FYI Resources: HPA pilot plant trial achieves anticipated operating parameters

Australia's FYI Resources Ltd. recently announced that the scheduled high purity alumina (HPA) pilot plant trial in collaboration with Alcoa Australia Limited has concluded successfully, achieving expected operational performances.
It also further demonstrates the potential for commercial production of HPA via FYI Resources' innovative flowsheet design.
The HPA produced during the trial operation was consistent with previous trials and appeared to be of excellent quality. The HPA will be checked for quality control and assurance jointly and then forwarded by FYI to targeted end-user and customer groups for on-going product qualification.
