Prices of both non-grain oriented electrical steel and grain oriented electrical steel in major markets of China saw a downward trend during this month due to weak demand. Because of the continuous price increase in previous months, customers just preferred to purchase materials for urgent need and the market sales performance was unsatisfying. Traders had to reduce their prices after the National Day holiday due to the high sales pressure.
