China's first ultra-low emission lead-antimony production line goes into operation in Hechi

China's first Jamesonite production line, including bottom-blown furnace, side-blown furnace and fuming furnace, has gone into operation recently in Shengfu Smelting Co., Ltd. in Daren Industrial Zone in Hechi Industrial Park. The production line collects more than 99% of sulfur dioxide in smoke to make sulfuric acid and thus can basically realize zero-emission of sulfur dioxide.
It's said that the "oxygen bottom-blown smelting & side-blown smelting reduction & oxygen-enriched volatilization" smelting process adopted by this production line is the advanced process for smelting Jamesonite and antimony-containing waste slag worldwide currently. This is the first time for China to use the process in the production line and the process will greatly promote the development of the lead-antimony smelting industry in China.
