HBIS Group Wusteel's 3.5Ni steel with maximum thickness wins bids of petrochemical project

On October 10, HBIS Group Wusteel won a supply contract for 3.5Ni steel with the thickness of 105mm, the thickest one that could be supplied by Chinese companies. This batch of steel will replace imported products and be applied in low-temperature pressure vessels, which are the key devices of Zhejiang Petrochemical Phase II Project, one of the major projects in Zhejiang during the time period of 2016-2020.
By now, HBIS Group Wusteel has produced over 10,000t of ultra-low temperature 3.5Ni steel plates in total. These steel plates are extensively applied in coal chemical and petrochemical industry, accounting for over 95% of market share in China.
