China's steel output rises by 12.3% year on year in Sep

According to the data released by National Bureau of Statistics, the average daily steel output of Chinese industrial enterprises above designated size reached 3.935 million tons in September 2020, increasing for the third consecutive month.
In September, the steel output of Chinese industrial enterprises above designated size was 118.06 million tons, up by 12.3% year on year but down by 1.07 million tons or 0.9% month on month. Thus, the average daily steel output was 3.9353 million tons in September, up by 92,400 tons or 2.41% from August.
In the first nine months of 2020, the steel output reached 964.24 million tons, up by 5.6% compared to the corresponding period last year.
