    1 Market Highlights

    1.1 Chinese origin bauxite

    In September, prices for Chinese origin bauxite edged up and the demand was strong, but the supply was still tight.

    1.2 Imported bauxite

    In September, bauxite transactions were limited, the sea freight continued to be high and the price increased as a whole.

    1.3 Aluminum fluoride

    In September, prices for aluminum fluoride in China went up slightly, but the inventory increased with the rise of operating rate late this month.

    1.4 Alumina

    This month, the alumina market in China kept quiet, most primary aluminum plants held sufficient raw material stocks and had less demand, resulting in limited transactions in the market.
