According to data released by Vietnam Customs, in September 2020, Vietnam's imports of steel product registered 1.01 million tons, down by 15.3% from August, and imports of steel scrap down by 28.9% MOM to 485,625t.
From January to September, Vietnam's imports of steel product totaled 10.36 million tons, down by 4% from the same period last year, and imports of steel scrap increased by 1.1% YOY to 4.29 million tons.
