Tangshan releases air pollution prevention and control measures for autumn and winter of 2020-2021

In order to carry out requirements of relevant departments, start air pollution prevention and control work for autumn and winter of 2020-2021, improve the quality of air and ensure the health of people, Tangshan recently released a notice of emission reduction measures for industrial enterprises during autumn and winter of 2020-2021. The valid period of this notice is from 0:00 of October 1, 2020 to 24:00 of March 31, 2021.
For iron and steel industry, enterprises with performance level of A, i.e. Shougang Qiansteel and Shougang Jingtang should take emission reduction measures autonomously; enterprises with performance level of B should take measures to limit production of blast furnaces by 10%. The ratio is 20% for enterprises with C-level, 35% for enterprises with D-level and 45% for enterprises with E-level respectively.
For coking industry, enterprises with performance level of A should take emission reduction measures autonomously. The coking time for enterprises with B-level should extend to 28 hours and over 32 hours for enterprises with C-level.
