Panhua Group makes successful trial production on 1,580mm hot-rolled production line

Recently, Panhua Group successfully produced the first coil of hot-rolled plate on its 1,580mm continuous hot-rolled production line. With the annual production scale of 4 million tons, the 1,580mm continuous hot-rolled production line will mainly produce CR-base raw material, carbon structure steel, high-quality carbon steel, low alloy steel, silicon steel, automobile steel, etc.
In November 2019, Panhua Group initiatively conducted industry upgrading and technical transformation, raised funds of RMB10 billion (USD1.49 billion), used the advanced devices in China and constructed the green, clean, intelligent and high-tech continuous hot-rolled production line project. This project consists of a 1,580mm continuous hot-rolled production line with the designed annual output of 4 million tons, two 1,780mm hot-rolled production lines with the total designed annual output of 9 million tons, a section steel production line with the designed annual output of 1 million tons, an angel steel production line with the designed annual output of 1 million tons and a wire production line with the designed annual output of 1 million tons.
