Capchem Poland receives environmental approval for Li-ion battery material project

On September 28, CAPCHEM announced that its Poland-based subsidiary Capchem Poland Sp
Capchem Poland is the operator of the Li-ion battery material project invested by CAPCHEM. It has annual production capacity of 40,000t of Li-ion battery electrolyte, 5,000t of NMP and 5,000t of conductive paste . To advance construction process, Capchem Poland purchased from BASF POLSKA its land usage right and attached buildings, production facilities, warehouses and offices located in Srem, Wielkopolskie.
Recently, Capchem Poland received the environmental approval from the Srem city government which confirmed that the Capchem Poland project conforms to local development plan and is expected not to impose negative impacts upon local environment.
Capchem Poland revealed that receiving the environmental approval indicates that the company has made an important step in government review process for the project, and it will expedite following work so as to put the project into operation as soon as possible.
