Ukraine makes final anti-dumping ruling on steel fasteners from China

On September 26, 2020, the inter departmental International Trade Commission of Ukraine issued an announcement, in accordance with commission resolution AD-465/2020/4411-03 of September 21, 2020, it made an affirmative final determination on anti-dumping of steel fasteners, including screws, bolts and nuts, and decided to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved from September 29, 2020, with 32.47% for Haining Haixun Trade Co., Ltd., 38.37% for Ningbo Jinding Fastening Piece Co., Ltd., 67.40% for other suppliers, and the validity period is 5 years. The case concerns products under Ukrainian tax codes 7318156890, 7318158290, 73181588990, 7318159590, 7318169290 and 7318169990.
On December 7, 2019, Ukraine initiated an anti-dumping investigation on steel fasteners (tariff No. 7318 15 6990, 7318 15 8190, 7318 15 89 90, 7318 15 90 90, 7318 16 91 90 and 7318 16 99 90) originating in China. On May 28, 2020, the inter departmental International Trade Commission of Ukraine issued an announcement, according to the resolution AD-447/2020/4411-03 of May 22, 2020, the Ukrainian inter departmental International Trade Commission made an affirmative preliminary anti-dumping determination on the products involved in the case. It ruled that 19.75% of the provisional anti-dumping duty should be imposed on the products involved from the date of the announcement, with an effective period of four months.
