On September 23, the No.1 furnace was fired up at the power house of Guizhou Xingyi coal power aluminum integration industrial project constructed by Hebei Engineering Corporation Co., Ltd. The furnace is now in the preheating and blowing-in process for the subsequent successful operation of the whole furnace unit.
As a key project in Guizhou, it will produce 330kt/a of aluminum alloy plate and strip, with total investment exceeding RMB6 billion (USD880 million). Upon completion, the project is expected to generate annual production value of over RMB8 billion (USD1.1 billion) and tax revenue of about RMB1.1 billion (USD161 million).
