First China-Mongolia train carrying coking coal put into operation

On 19 September, the first China-Mongban train (Ulanqab) carrying coking coal arrived in Ulanqab.
The train has 50 carriages and 100 containers, carrying 3,300t of coking coal. It is jointly operated by Mongolia International Container Company, the only railway container transport logistics enterprise in Mongolia, and Ulanqab City, and the transport volume will reach 2 to 3 million tons in the first year. Relying on Ulanqab's geographical advantages and railway transportation advantages, the coking coal imported in the future will be no less than 3 million tons, and the transit time will be greatly shortened.
