Gellec to put into operation No. 6 production line of Li-battery membrane and coating membrane project in November

Hebei Gellec New Energy Science & Technology Joint Stock Co., Ltd. ("Gellec") is installing electronics for the No. 6 production line of its high-performance Li-battery membrane and coating membrane stage three project, and expects to carry out charged commissioning in mid-to-late October and raw-material-fed commissioning in early November.
The No. 6 production line, with an investment of RMB230 million (USD33.90 million) and brand-new line introduced from South Korea, went under construction in March and is expected to reach full-capacity operation in November.
When going into full operation, the production line will be able to produce 100 million square meters of Li-battery membrane and create a RMB250 million (USD36.85 million) annual revenue for the company.
