HBIS Wusteel finishes industrial trial production of 7Ni steel

On 7 September, HBIS Wusteel finished the industrial trial production of 7Ni steel as the major executor of ultra-low temperature and severe corrosion low-cost container steel project, a "13th Five-year Plan" key research and development plan special topic. The impact energy of 7Ni steel with the thickness of 6mm, 12mm, 30mm and 50mm reached over 180GJ at the low temperature of -196℃. All performance indicators of the product met requirements of related standards, marking HBIS Wusteel's success in standing among one of a few producers that can produce 7Ni steel sheet in the world.
