Zhejiang announces to strengthen control on coal for unified dispatching power generation use in 2020

Zhejiang Development and Reform Commission recently announced a notice for strengthening control on coal for unified dispatching power generation use in 2020. The notice put forward that since this July, the consumption volume of coal for unified dispatching power generation use increased obviously but the coal control for unified dispatching power generation used is not expected to be positive. All related authorities and units should pay high attention to the coal control work and list measures of coal control for unified dispatching power generation use and carry out seriously.
The notice noted that, taking the power supply and coal control of the whole year into coordinated consideration, Zhejiang plans to use coal for unified dispatching power generation use of 5.7 million tons, 5.5 million tons and 5.5 million tons in September, October and November respectively to control the coal consumption volume within 16.70 million tons from September to November and complete the reduction of annual coal consumption volume for unified dispatching power generation use in advance. Besides, it will arrange 7.9 million tons of coal for unified dispatching power generation use in November, unchanged MOM.
