Timah, one of the world's largest tin miners, produced 27,833t of refined tin and sold 31,508t in the first half of the year, according to figures released this Friday.
Both were down year on year. In the same period of 2019, the company produced 37,700t of refined tin and sold 31,600t, according to the data of the company .
Timah plans to sell about 55,000t of refined tin this year, down by about 19% from 2019 affected by the COVID-19, the company's finance chief said in June.
