1. Market Highlights
In July, steel mills' bidding prices ferrochrome edged down and transactions of the material were limited, so sellers cut prices for sales. Prices for HC ferrochrome, LC ferrochrome and silicochromium all trended down this month.
Domestic demand for chrome metal didn't improve in July, so producers reduced their prices for sales promotion. Domestic and export prices for chrome metal both edged down this month.
This month, downstream buyers forced down chrome ore prices, so sellers had to cut prices for sales; in addition, CIF China prices of chrome ore also edged down.
