Yunnan determines 164 resource tax rates

On July 29, the Standing Committee of the 13th Yunnan Provincial People's Congress decided to adopt the decision about tax collection, deduction and exemption for resource tax items and rates in Yunnan Province, and set 164 resource tax rates, which will take effect from September 1, 2020.
Yunnan province stated that it would determine tax rates of the 41 tax items that have been levied in accordance with optimized structure and classification. Among them, the raw ore tax rates and ore dressing tax rates of 32 tax items would be slightly increased; the raw ore tax rates of 4 tax items (iron, copper, lead and zinc) would be appropriately raised while the ore dressing tax rates would be unchanged; the raw ore tax rate of 1 tax item (bauxite) won't change while the ore dressing tax rate would increase; the raw ore tax rates and ore dressing tax rates of 4 tax items (limestone, phosphorus, fluorite, dolomite) would be stable.
