NBS: utilization rate of Chinese industrial capacity down to 74.4% YOY in Q2

According to statistics from National Bureau of Statistics, the utilization rate of industrial capacity in China was 74.4% in Q2 2020, down by two percentage points YOY and 7.1 percentage points QOQ. The utilization rate of domestic industrial capacity was 71.1% in the first half of 2020, down by 5.1 percentage points YOY.
In particular, the utilization rate of coal mining and washing industry was 69.6% in China in the second quarter of 2020; that of non-metallic mineral products industry was 68.2%; that of ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry was 78.4%; that of non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry was 79.2 % and that of automobile manufacturing industry was 74.6%.
