In June, due to the weak downstream demand in the overseas market, the overseas molybdenum concentrate supply was relatively sufficient, and a large amount of the material poured into China, leading to the falling domestic molybdenum prices. Due to soft demand, molybdenum and ferromolybdenum prices in the international market continued to fall . Because of the influx of imported molybdenum concentrate, prices for molybdenum concentrate in Chinese market fell sharply . Prices for ferromolybdenum in China decreased with those for molybdenum concentrate . Domestic ammonium molybdate suppliers continued to reduce prices to promote transactions . Prices for sodium molybdate, ammonium heptomolybdate and high-purity molybdenum oxide continued to fall, and the market saw rare transactions . Molybdenum powder and molybdenum deep-processing products prices fell significantly due to the soft downstream demand.
