    Market Highlights

    This month, operating rates of LNCMO producers did not increase as expected while the LFP market showed slightly increasing demand for industrial grade lithium carbonate; as a result, the downward movement in lithium carbonate prices in China slowed down.

    On the power car market, end consumption on NEV autos was weak, so battery plants cut their target prices for LNCMO out of costs pressure, leading to decreasing LNCMO prices.

    The 3C electronics market ran steadily and LCO suppliers made slightly increasing sales compared with last years; but affected by dropping prices for raw material lithium carbonate and cobalt tetroxide, LCO prices moved down.

    As consumers from aerospace and pharmaceutical markets reported decreasing sales on a year-to-year basis, demand for lithium metal weakened; further affected by dropping prices for raw materials lithium carbonate and lithium chloride, lithium metal prices moved down this month.
