Yahua Industrial Group extends lithium concentrate offtake agreement with Galaxy Resources

Sichuan Yahua Industrial Group Co., Ltd. said on July 10 that its fully owned subsidiary Yahua International Investment & Development Co., Ltd. had renewed the offtake agreement with Australia-listed Galaxy Resources, extending the contract period (originally from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2022) by three years to December 31, 2025.
According to the extended agreement, Galaxy Resources will supply to Yahua International with spodumene concentrate no less than 45,000t in 2020 and no less than 120,000t annually from 2021 to 2025; if supply quantity excels 120,000t, Yahua International has the preemptive right based upon the same conditions.
