1. Market Highlights
As the supply from abroad remained limited, Chinese tantalum concentrate and niobium concentrate import prices continued to increase in June. Chinese tantalum oxide and niobium oxide, ferroniobium prices increased further due to higher production cost.
As most suppliers had confidence in the market, European tantalite market prices increased in June. Discouraged by the soft demand from end users, European ferroniobium and American tantalum metal market prices decreased further in June.
