China sees 52 10-million-ton coal mines in operation

According to the statistics of China National Coal Association, as of now, China has built 52 10-million-ton coal mines, with an approved annual production capacity of 821 million tons which accounts for one fifth of the total production capacity of coal mines in China.
In terms of geographical distribution, 52 10-million-ton mines are distributed in 7 provinces (autonomous regions) and 14 prefectures. In terms of provinces and regions, 21 in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region with an annual production capacity of 391 million tons; 15 in Shaanxi Province with an annual production capacity of 210 million tons; 8 in Shanxi Province with an annual production capacity of 133 million tons; 3 in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region with an annual production capacity of 30 million tons; 2 in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region with an annual production capacity of 24 million tons; 2 in Anhui Province with an annual production capacity of 23 . 3 million tons; 1 in Yunnan Province with an annual production capacity of 10 million tons.
