Three steel enterprises in Ningxia to implement first-step electricity price in 2020

According to the announcement of State Grid Ningxia Electric Power Co., Ltd, Ningxia Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd., Ningxia Xinghua Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (former Ningxia Boyu Hongxing Special Steel Group Co., Ltd.) and Ningxia Shenyin Steel Co., Ltd.'s energy consumption indexes in 2019 reached the national standard quota. Therefore, the above three steel enterprises will implement the first-step electricity price for production from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020, without raising the price, based on relevant provisions of MIIT of NDRC concerning the promotion of supply-side structural reform of the steel industry by means of price control.
