In an effort to reduce air pollutants in key industries, Henan will implement differential water and electricity prices for steel, iron and cement enterprises from August 1.
According to the policy, from August 1, all steel and iron and cement enterprises in the province that have not completed the transformation of ultra-low emissions as required will have their online electricity consumption (including market traded electricity consumption) and water consumption subject to the policy of price increase. For those who have completed the transformation of ultra-low emissions, the price of electricity and water will not be increased.
